One night I was driving down this road by Cal Poly Pomona and I looked out the passenger window and a large white owl was flying right next to my window at the same speed I was driving. It glided next to my truck for about 50 feet before it flew off into the darkness. Months later I was driving down that same road and I had remembered the owl, and I looked out at the darkness hoping I would see it again, but I didn't. I pulled into the parking lot at the school and the owl swooped down in front of my truck and landed in a tree just to my right. I parked my truck and went to the base of the tree and it watched me trying to take a picture of it but it was too dark for my phone to see it, despite its bright white feathers. This song is inspired by that big, white owl. - Jacob
